My Ride K-12 App: This tool allows you to track your child's bus location, proximity to their stop, and scan times. You can use it via web browser or mobile app. For setup questions, please contact Louis Garcia, Director of Transportation, at lgarcia@rlas-116.org.
Traffic Flow: Enter the parking lot at the far west end on Willow Drive. Traffic moves in a strict one-way direction.
Drop-off: Follow the sidewalk around the driveway and pull forward to the front of the building. Please follow the guidance of the staff members directing traffic.
Exiting the Vehicle: It is preferred that students exit on the driver’s side. If they must exit on the passenger side, they should walk around the front of the vehicle to reach the sidewalk safely. Exit the lot onto Greenwood Drive.
All students (bussers, walkers, and car riders) have been assigned a unique number. A card with this number is placed in a tag holder attached to their backpack. This matches with the card that has been given to the parent/guardian. Parents/Guardians must provide a copy of this numbered card to anyone approved to greet their child (including relatives, neighbors, or babysitters).
Teachers and drivers check students' bus IDs before loading. To ensure safety, each ID chip is scanned as the student gets on and off the bus. It is critical that your child has their ID attached to their backpack daily.
No Card, No Release for Kindergarten Students: If no card is shown at the bus stop, the child will not be released. They will remain on the bus, and the parent/guardian will be required to pick them up at the school at the end of the bus route.

If you need to change your child’s daily transportation routine, you must send a note to your child’s teacher AND call the main office before 2:00 PM. This ensures sufficient time to notify the classroom.

Traffic Flow: The traffic pattern is identical to the morning. Enter on Willow Drive in a single-file line.
Pick-up Tag: Display your car rider pick-up tag clearly so staff can locate your child quickly. If you forget your tag, you will be asked to show ID while staff confirms verification with the front office.
Loading the Vehicle: A staff member will guide your child to your car. It is preferred that students enter on the rear driver’s side. If they must enter on the passenger side, they must walk around the front of the car.
Safety Rule: Under no circumstances should a vehicle pull out of the single-file line to pass loading cars unless expressly directed by a staff member. All cars will exit onto Greenwood Drive.
